Just thought I'd say hello. I have 5 children. I'm homeschooling my youngest and helping other parents in our area get started and tutoring. I waited 11 years to obey God. I taught my children from birth. I heard the Lord say to home instruct my oldest, but I feared homeschooling. I thought that I would give her an inadequate education. I didn't think I could do it -- not remembering that I have someone who would lead and guide me into all truth. I praise the Lord for the experience and encourage all of you to listen and obey. I thought I would have to spend a lot of money on books and supplies. I found home school garage sales, free internet sites, and library books full of experiments. Take it one day at a time and enjoy the blessing and opportunity given to you. God Bless, Janice

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new to this site. I've signed up months ago but just haven't truly utilized the support. I am a young home school wife and mother of 3 children ages, 7, 6, and 5. I really don't know how to explain how long I've been homeschooling but I made the decision to obey GOD totally and move forward back in 2005. Right now I'm just seeking support and guidance. I really want to obey the LORD and keep HIM first in all that I do without overwhelming myself or my family. I know I have a lot to learn, so I am excited to hear from all of you.

I feel I have been tremendously blessed, I am also working from home, while being a support to my husband's business, which is nothing but the grace of GOD. At this junction in my life I just want to be connected to women who are in this journey to stay and who are willing to go the distance!!! So any suggestions, comments, articles, or whatever you may have to help me out I would greatly appreciate!! Be blessed!

Hi Everyone...
I am new to the website and the group. I live in MI just outside of Detroit. I am homeschooling two daughters, 13yo and 9 yo respectively and a son soon to be 3yo. I am looking for other homeschoolers to socialize with especially as my oldest prepares to enter high school.
It is very cool to have someplace to come to for support.

Blessings Everyone,
Tasha

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the group, and should consider myself new to the website since it has been 2 months or more since I was last on here.
I would like to know if anyone in the group would by any chance live in or near Atlanta or Cumming Ga? We have relocated, and it's really hard on me since my husband is traveling more now that we have moved. Please be in prayer with me as we seek out a home church and some hs friends to associate with.

Blessings,
Sharonda
