What is your best homeschooling advice for newbie home educators? Or, if you are a newbie homeschooler, what would you most like to learn about homeschooling?: Keep it Simple and Fun!

About Me:: Greetings. I am a stay at home mom of 4 year old boy/girl twins and a 8 month old baby girl. Since my children are young my teaching style is very hands-on. We play tons of games, create arts and crafts, and go on lots of field trips. I am so grateful to have found a support group for us by us. I look forward to getting to know you all.

I pray all is well! By Allah's Grace, we did not have to be monitored on bedrest--I was very strict with it myself--and hubby was not having it any other way. Then subsequently, we were blessed to have a homebirth with no intervention. It was great! And yes, I finally did get the teleconf number--712-580-0100 code 994267# . It starts 6:30a.m. on tomorrow.
Hope you can join in--I will try if the twins will let me out of their sleep hold. LOL

Yes, i'm at mm#15 but I havenot been out regularly since I was on bedrest the last 3+ months of my pregnancy with the twins. I am hoping to get a HS network going at the mosque/community soon. Are you a part of one? Also, I hear there is one via teleconf out of N.Y.--have you taken part in that?

Welcome to BHC! It seems word is getting around the NOI about this wonderful club. I've been a member for a few months now and have gotten so many ideas for homeschooling. I enjoyed looking at your blog. I picked up some good ideas from it as well. Nice to meet another mother of twins! I have 17 mo old twin boys and I love connecting with other MOTs. Let's keep in touch!
